Autumn Newsletter 2016 Intro
Hello everyone and welcome to our Autumn 2016 issue of The Great British Broker. Firstly, please don’t worry, we are not moving to Channel 4 anytime soon!
Well, it’s that time of year when the leaves are starting to turn, the nights are drawing in and there is that slight chill in the air when you leave for work in the morning. However, there are so many wonderful things about autumn which is why it is one of our favourite times of year; the beautiful autumnal colours that grace the Kentish landscape, the smell of wood smoke in the air, apple cider, conkers and of course the latest issue of The Great British Broker arriving in your Inbox! What could be better?
So, how was your summer? Perhaps you went on holiday to sunnier climes or did you stay in jolly old England and dodge the showers. Did you go to Wimbledon? Watch some cricket or just enjoy long lazy days in the garden? Whatever you did we hope you had a glorious time.
Here at Invicta we had a splendid summer. We sponsored various events throughout the area including the Biddenden Tractorfest and Country Fair which you can read all about in this newsletter. We took part in a sponsored walk for Folly Wildlife Rescue and were even invited to attend the Goodwood Revival. We also pottered around the county in Victor, our 1959 Austin A35 van, meeting some lovely people and attended local networking events.
Well then, what do we have on offer for you in this interesting and informative seventh issue of our newsletter? This quarter you can learn how we are helping a Kent family on BBC One’s DIY SOS: The Big Build. Find out more about Scott Simmons in the Employee Spotlight. How to keep safe and enjoy Halloween and Bonfire Night. The Top 10 things to do in Kent this autumn and more!
We hope you enjoy this issue and we would like to wish all of our customers and friends a very enjoyable, safe and agreeable autumn.
