CXK Partnership

How can you make a difference?

Ever wondered how £20 can make a positive difference in the life of a young person? Twenty pounds can help pay for basic training, study materials or travel to a job interview. These seem like small gestures that some may take for granted, but to some young people it can mean the difference between a career and a life on benefits.

Invicta has partnered with CXK a charitable organisation that delivers services across the South East to support young people and families to maximise their potential. We are donating £20 to CXK in the name of every policy holder when they quote “CXK” when taking out a new policy with us.

CXK offers training, career guidance, emotional health & wellbeing and parenting services. Their qualified career experts are knowledgeable about local education and employment opportunities and have access to the latest job trends. CXK are the provider of choice to local schools and colleges for their curriculum needs and provide advice, tailored programmes, support and guidance.

Invicta and CXK also work closely with the Prince’s Trust Team offering apprenticeships and work placements. CXK offers a development programme designed to help young people increase their confidence, motivation and work-related skills enabling movement into employment, education, training, volunteering or an apprenticeship.

As part of our commitment to this initiative, Invicta is proud to have a young person in a work placement with us this summer. Adam Coates will be spending time in our Personal Lines department in June and July. Adam is interested in pursuing a career in insurance broking and lives in Sevenoaks, so Invicta was a perfect match for his aspirations. We will be providing Adam with an insight into the skills required to be a professional insurance broker, including how to secure the right cover for each customer and always remembering to put the customer first.

Commenting on his time at Invicta Adam said “I am very grateful for the opportunity Invicta has given me so that I can pursue a career in the insurance industry. Their friendly and experienced Personal Lines team have helped me to integrate well during my work placement while giving me the tools and experience I need to make it as a broker. I feel like I have grown in confidence through talking to clients and my enthusiasm has allowed me to get the most out of my time with Invicta, who I very much hope to work for after I graduate.”

Invicta is pleased to be supporting the local community and encouraging young people to follow their dreams. By supporting and expanding the opportunities available through our dynamic partnership with CXK, we hope to help many people in the South East look forward to their futures with renewed focus and enthusiasm.
