Employee of the month Scott
At Invicta you always receive pleasant, helpful and friendly service but what do you know of the terrific people who make up the Invicta team? In this spot of our newsletter we will introduce you to one of the Invicta staff members who, on a daily basis, help to provide our customers with quality and courteous service. In this issue we say hello to Scott Simmons.
Having previously studied Business Management at The University of Brighton, Scott started his working career at Ann Summers before joining Invicta Insurance Services back in July 2015. He is now a key member of the Personal Lines team.
I’m sure some of you may have spoken with Scott when calling about your home or car insurance so will know that he is a friendly, helpful and professional Customer Service Advisor. Scott’s primary role is to provide exemplary service to our customers and he has always shown his willingness to go the extra mile.
Scott is a born volunteer! Whenever we need Invicta team members to attend marketing shows, sponsored events or support any of the charitable, community initiatives that we are involved in we can always rely on Scott to be front and centre! This year, Scott attended both the hugely successful Wrotham Classic Steam and Transport Rally and the Darling Buds Classic Car Show so he could enjoy meeting some of our customers and share their passion for classic vehicles.
In addition to having a passion for classic cars, Scott is also a keen sportsman! He regularly plays football and is a lifelong supporter of Arsenal Football Club. In fact Scott was lucky enough to play in a tournament last summer at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium which was refereed by ex-Arsenal midfielder, Ray Parlour. Sadly the outcome of the tournament was not as lucky for Scott and his team mates!

“Thank you for featuring me in autumn’s Employee Spotlight! I came to Invicta with next to no experience in insurance (aside from relatively short work experience programs) and was amazed at how passionate everyone was about my progression. Almost immediately I was encouraged to join the Chartered Institute of Insurance and begin my studies towards my Certificate in Insurance, which I have been pursuing for the past year. Hopefully I will be completing my studies some time during 2017!”
